SEPTEMBER TWILIGHT by NAOMI REYNOLDS

First Line: YOUR WARM ITALIAN HANDCLASP
Last Line: OVER THE MAPLE TREES.
Subject(s): EVENING; SUNSET; TWILIGHT;

Your warm Italian handclasp --
A jostling crowd -- the train --
A rumble and a silence --
My own drab street again --

The late September twilight --
A chilling river breeze --
A lonely red moon stalking
Over the maple trees.
