SILVER by NAOMI REYNOLDS

First Line: I CANNOT WATCH THE MOONLIGHT
Last Line: SILVER IN MINE.
Subject(s): MOURNING; BEREAVEMENT;

I cannot watch the moonlight
Sift slowly over my bed;
I have no right to look at the moon,
Now that you are dead.

I'll draw the curtain lower,
And let the silver shine
On other hearts, for I have enough
Silver in mine.
