VIOLETS by NAOMI REYNOLDS

First Line: IF THE DAWN BRINGS VIOLETS
Last Line: IN YOUR EYES.
Subject(s): FLOWERS; VIOLETS;

If the dawn brings violets,
Pick a few for me.
I have thrown away the others,
Thoughtlessly.

Do you think a violet
Ever fades or dies?
I can see mine blossoming
In your eyes.
