A TYPICAL FLORIDIAN by CHARLES JOSEPH RIDER

First Line: ALONG THE GULF OR TAMPA BAY
Last Line: A TYPICAL FLORIDIAN!
Subject(s): FLORIDA;

Along the Gulf or Tampa Bay
You see him fishing any day,
The Isaac Walton Pelican --
A typical Floridian!

At times he rests upon a post,
With solemn face and mind engrossed
With problems of the fisherman --
A typical Floridian!

His mind is just on fishing bent,
Untalkative, but sapient,
The hero of the fisher clan --
A typical Floridian!
