THE DANCE OF LIFE by CHARLES JOSEPH RIDER

First Line: WHEREVER I TURN THEY COME INTO VIEW
Last Line: RHYTHMS WHICH GOD IN CREATION DREW.

Wherever I turn they come into view,
Recurring, entwining through every form,
Rhythms which God in creation drew;

In trees and in flowers and clouds in the blue,
Flowing, and weaving each typical norm,
Wherever I turn they come into view.

In mountain and ocean and deep bayou,
In desert and plain, in calm or storm,
Rhythms which God in creation drew.

The dance of life I follow through,
The currents of motion their wonders perform,
Wherever I turn they come into view.

Spiritual rhythms in shape and in hue,
Balanced, related and made to conform,
Rhythms which God in creation drew.

Infused all about me they pass in review,
Dancing they magically touch and transform,
Wherever I turn they come into view:
Rhythms which God in creation drew.
