WHERE IT LISTETH by LEXIE DEAN ROBERTSON

First Line: LOVE CAME / BUT WHEN OR HOW I DO NOT KNOW
Last Line: TOLD ME SO.
Subject(s): GRIEF; LOVE - LOSS OF; SORROW; SADNESS;

LOVE came—
But when or how I do not know—
A sunlit singing gladness,
A starlit dreaming madness,
Told me so.

Love went—
But where or why I do not know—
A broken weeping sadness,
An aching lonely madness,
Told me so.
