FORGET ME by BENJAMIN ROSENBAUM

First Line: REMEMBER ME FOR THE BOWL OF TWILIGHT
Last Line: BUT LET ME REMEMBER. . . ALL.

REMEMBER me for the bowl of twilight,
Holding the dreamer's blue smoke.

Remember me for the silver talisman of a moon,
And the cameoed sunrise with wind.

Remember me for the ivory horn of a cloud.

Forget me for the monotones in an evening of hushed magic.

Forget me for the loneliness in beautiful things.

Forget me for the sword-edged shadows,

But let me remember. . . all.
