A MOUNTAIN ROAD by BEULAH WINDLE SCALLIN

First Line: CAPRICIOUSLY IT WOUND ABOUT
Last Line: IN WEALTH OF SCENTS AND ROSES.
Subject(s): MOUNTAINS; TRAVEL; HILLS; DOWNS (GREAT BRITAIN); JOURNEYS; TRIPS;

Capriciously it wound about
And hid among the hills;
It hovered near and shivered clear
A half a hundred rills;

It soared in winding ribbon-trail
To heights where peace reposes;
Then, dipped to kiss a valley lapped
In wealth of scents and roses.
