I saw a sturdy tree, wind crucified Against an angry sky; the storm-troops came With armament, and wrecked the country side. With cannons booming, swords swift flashing flame, The harsh storm-troops, with wild hilarity And high-pitched battle cry, swept on afar Then peaceful silence reigned ... Victoriously The lone tree stood, though strife had left its scar.
