A WISE COUNSELOR by MAGGIE SHADES

First Line: IF YOU'RE UP AGAINST A PROBLEM
Last Line: -- 'TIS A WOMAN.
Subject(s): WOMEN;

If you're up against a problem
And the world's not going right,
If you've racked your brain to solve it
And the end's not yet in sight,
You surely need a counselor
To help you in your fight.
-- Ask a woman.

When your life becomes a burden
And you're longing for a friend,
And the job that you have tackled
Seems though 'twill never end,
Don't forget there's someone near you
Whose thoughts with yours will blend;
-- 'Tis a woman.

If your heart is filled with sadness
And has been for many a day,
And the gloom that's settled o'er you,
(Will it never pass away?)
See how quickly all will vanish
If the right one has a say;
-- 'Tis a woman.
