A PRAYER by CLYDE WOOD SNEED

First Line: KEEPER OF MY SOUL TONIGHT
Last Line: RUN THE RACE, WIN LIFE'S GOAL.
Subject(s): PRAYER;

Keeper of my soul tonight,
Teach me what is best, is right,
Make my thoughts, Lord, pure and sweet,
Keep me humbly at thy feet.

As I go about my daily task,
Give me wisdom, this I ask,
To be of service in thy work,
Let me not, Lord, shun nor shirk.

And when I hear that last clear call,
Let me feel that I've done all
That I could to help some soul
Run the race, win life's goal.
