AUTUMN'S GYPSIES by LAUREL JANE SPITLER

First Line: SIPPING OF THE AUTUMN AIR / HEADY AS THE
Last Line: GYPSIES VANISH IN THE NIGHT.
Subject(s): GYPSIES; GIPSIES;

Sipping of the autumn air
Heady as the rarest wine,
Gypsy leaves are everywhere
At this gay and merry time.

Watch them dance, in colors bright,
Gaily round each barren tree,
Swirling left and dipping right,
Such a joyous sight to see.

Soon are lost each lov'ly gown,
Brilliant red or golden bright,
When the bonfires light the town,
Gypsies vanish in the night.
