THE GREAT BEYOND by OLIVE SCOTT STAINSBY

First Line: SEDUCTIVE AND MYSTERIOUS IT SEEMS
Last Line: YET I BELIEVE THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH.
Subject(s): BIBLE; CATHOLICS; FUTURE LIFE; RELIGIOUS EDUCATION; SERMONS; ROMAN CATHOLICS; CATHOLICISM; RETRIBUTION; ETERNITY; AFTER LIFE; SUNDAY SCHOOLS; YESHIVAS; PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS;

Seductive and mysterious it seems,
And yet is part of nature's poignant plan,
Not even in the wildest of our dreams
Can we explain the future life of man.
The orthodox preach of the streets of gold,
And molten fire within the gates of hell,
The Bible says the Son of Man was sold,
And died that with our souls all might be well.

The Catholics say we must confess our sin
To priests for absolution; Baptists teach
Immersion makes us white within,
While Mormons bring salvation to our reach.
These jumbled creeds all take away my breath,
Yet I believe there @3is@1 life after death.
