ARTIST by LOUISE VANDERPOOL

First Line: THE TWISTED TUBES ARE DRYING, YET HE RESTS
Last Line: CLOTHING THE SATIN BODY OF A GIRL.
Subject(s): PAINTINGS AND PAINTERS;

The twisted tubes are drying, yet he rests
In adoration, as her full lips part,
While supple hands create the rounded breasts
A tongue of flame is rising in his heart.

Upon the canvas, colors cloud and curl
Clothing the satin body of a girl.
