A DROP OF INK by CHARLES LOUIS HENRY WAGNER

First Line: A DROP OF INK MAKES MILLIONS THINK,
Last Line: AND DISSIPATE ITS ENERGY.
Subject(s): INKSTANDS; THOUGHT; WRITING & WRITERS; THINKING;

"A drop of ink makes millions think,"
But when the ink is steeped in gall,
And what it writes besmirches all,
Then better for this world of woe
That this small drop of ink should flow
Into the deep and dark blue sea
And dissipate its energy.
