REFLECTIONS by HELEN FIELD WATSON

First Line: THOUGHTS ARE THE CONSCIOUSNESS LIGHTED
Last Line: BUT ALWAYS WE PRAY THEY REMAIN.
Subject(s): MEMORY;

Thoughts are the consciousness lighted;
Memories are mirrors of thought
Set here and there. Uninvited
They gleam with the rays they have caught.

Sometimes these thought rays are joyous;
Some are reflections of pain.
Sometimes we wish for dull mirrors,
But always we pray they remain.
