CALLING THE ROLL by ANNETTE WYNNE

First Line: APRIL CALLS, / THROUGH SPRING TIME HALLS
Last Line: O THE JOY OF SPRING!
Subject(s): APRIL; SPRING;

APRIL calls,
Through spring time halls,
"Bluebird, crocus, violet,
Do you forget
To grow? To sing?"
Soon they answer to the call,
"Present early one and all,"
O the joy of spring!
