FLAG, OUR FLAG by ANNETTE WYNNE

First Line: FLAG, THAT WAVES THE WHOLE DAY THROUGH
Last Line: GLORIOUS RED, WHITE AND BLUE.
Subject(s): FLAGS - UNITED STATES; SUMMER; AMERICAN FLAG;

FLAG, that waves the whole day through,
Do you know that we love you?
Do you know
As you blow
That our hearts are stirring so—
Flag, our Red, and White, and Blue?

Where you float above the street
Children look and stop their play.
Workers stop their hasting feet,
Flag, our flag, for you to-day.

Far below
The brave men go,
Marching, marching, trusting so,
Flag, our flag, you'll ever blow;
Up there high—
Closer, closer, to the sky.

Flag that waves the whole day through,
Do you know that we love you,
Glorious Red, White and Blue.
