RICHES by ANNETTE WYNNE

First Line: GLAD HEART, CLEAR BRAIN, CLEAN HANDS
Last Line: THAT'S HAPPINESS ENOUGH FOR YOU AND ME.
Subject(s): CHILDREN; MARCH (MONTH); MOTHERS; CHILDHOOD;

GLAD heart, clear brain, clean hands—
All these are better far than castle lands;
Good ears to hear, good eyes to see,
Are riches quite enough for you and me.

A place to sit, a book, a light,
Are riches great enough a winter's night,
And Mother setting things for tea—
That's happiness enough for you and me.
