A WOMAN'S FALL by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: SHE SINN'D-BECAUSE HER VERY SOUL TOOK FIRE
Last Line: IS THROWN UPON THE STREETS, BESPRENT WITH MIRE!
Subject(s): SIN;

SHE sinn'd—because her very soul took fire:
And she, who most should move our tears to flood,
As having lost the crown of womanhood,
Is thrown upon the streets, besprent with mire!
