AD ASTRA: 11 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: AH, LIGHTNING INTERCHANGE OF SOUL AND SENSE!
Last Line: AND REACH AT JOYS THAT ARE BEYOND OUR SPHERE.
Subject(s): IMMORTALITY;

Ah, lightning interchange of soul and sense!
Divine communion with a kindred frame—
When spirit voices call from out the immense,
Unfathomable Silence whence we came,
And Man's immortal destiny proclaim—
What time we breathe a far serener air
And reach at joys that are beyond our sphere.
