AD ASTRA: 121 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: O WHO CAN VIEW SUCH SCENES INDIFFERENTLY?
Last Line: THE REALM OF EARTH, THE COMMONWEALTH OF AIR.
Subject(s): LIFE; TYRANNY & TYRANTS;

O who can view such scenes indifferently?
Rather than see those old-world Manors die,
Almost one were in love with tyranny,
Almost one could ignore the widow's cry,
The thousand breaking hearts beneath the sky—
Perish the thought! God gave all life to share
The realm of earth, the commonwealth of air.
