AD ASTRA: 143 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: FOR, IF THERE BE NO HEAVEN NOR HELL-BUT HERE
Last Line: —MAN TRUE TO MAN, AND EARTH WERE HEAVEN INDEED!
Subject(s): EARTH; HEAVEN; LIFE; WORLD; PARADISE;

For, if there be no Heaven nor Hell—but Here—
How much the greater need that truth endure!
That we may make our Earth a heavenly sphere
By breaking the long bondage of the Poor,
Nor to Life's Pities add one pity more!
The many call thee to their higher need,
—Man true to Man, and Earth were Heaven indeed!
