AD ASTRA: 153 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: BUT WHEN THE BODY WITH DREAD PAIN IS BOW'D
Last Line: TO DISCIPLINE HIS WILL TO GOD'S COMMAND!
Subject(s): GOD; NATURE - RELIGIOUS ASPECTS;

But when the body with dread pain is bow'd—
And our redemption cometh oft through pain—
The spiritual nature cries aloud
For that strong Arm which can alone sustain.
Then turneth home the wanderer again!
Happy the man, who needs no chastening Hand
To discipline his will to God's command!
