AD ASTRA: 161 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: AN OLD MAN'S JUDGMENT IN THE HOUR OF DEATH
Last Line: AND HAPPY PEACE, THE OLIVE BRANCH OF HEAVEN.
Subject(s): DEATH; HEAVEN; PEACE; DEAD, THE; PARADISE;

An old man's judgment in the hour of Death
Is testimony worth a young man's ear,
When thro' the last watch rings the cry of Faith,
"The Lord my refuge is, I have no fear"—
Doubt vanishes before the Morn of Cheer!
Night's closing vigil Light Divine doth leaven,
And happy Peace, the olive branch of Heaven.
