AD ASTRA: 168 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: O WHO CAN DOUBT HER MINISTERING POWER
Last Line: MAN WILL LOOK OUT UPON A WORLD OF WOE!
Subject(s): FAITH; SPIRITUALITY; BELIEF; CREED;

O who can doubt Her ministering power,
The spiritual sceptre which She wields?—
Deprive Her of Her immemorial dower,
Blot out Her Light from all our English fields,
The virtuous lives Her bright example yields,
And in that day when Faith and Reverence go
Man will look out upon a world of woe!
