AD ASTRA: 172 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: OUR PASSIONATE CONFLICTS HAVE THEIR DAY AND DIE
Last Line: WHO FERVENTLY THE SELFSAME CHRIST PROFESS?
Subject(s): RELIGION; SPIRITUALITY; WORSHIP; THEOLOGY;

Our passionate conflicts have their day and die—
Sons of ONE FATHER, need our paths dispart?
O may we not in brotherhood draw nigh,
And worship Him together, heart to heart?
Shall wars of ritual keep for aye apart
Those whom God's loving spirit doth possess,
Who fervently the selfsame Christ profess?
