AD ASTRA: 33 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: THEN CITIES SHALL ARISE, BOTH SWEET AND FAIR
Last Line: HEALTH THE HANDMAID OF PEACE AND CHILD OF LOVE.
Subject(s): CITIES; ENVIRONMENT; HEALTH; URBAN LIFE; ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION; ECOLOGY; CONSERVATION;

Then Cities shall arise, both sweet and fair,
In purer regions of the untrammell'd sky,
No murky fumes pollute the healing air
Where sunny streets in widening prospect vie.
Of sickness and disease shall no man die!
A happier race in happier climes will prove
Health the handmaid of Peace and child of Love.
