AD ASTRA: 99 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: FLED IS MY FAITH'-HOW PITIFUL THE CRY!
Last Line: AND 'STABLISH IN OUR HEARTS THY PERFECT REIGN!
Subject(s): FAITH; BELIEF; CREED;

'Fled is my Faith'—how pitiful the cry!
Or, 'Daily doth my Faith grow less and less'—
On every breeze is borne the painéd sigh
Of men who dare not all their heart confess.
O shield us from the storm, the strain, the stress!
Uphold us in this Age of greed and gain,
And 'stablish in our hearts Thy perfect reign!
