THE SKAITH OF GUILLARDUN: 29 by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: SO, PLEADING INTEREST IN THE PRINCE'S DEATH
Last Line: LEST HE HER BLITHE EXPECTANCY OUTPACED.
Subject(s): FAITH; KNIGHTS & KNIGHTHOOD; BELIEF; CREED;

So, pleading interest in the Prince's death,
A gracious missive sent she by her squire;
And quickly came and went her tender breath,
Till she the answer had to her desire;
And much she question'd of his knightly faith,
Oft wondering if herself he would admire.
Then 'gan she robe herself with quiet haste,
Lest he her blithe expectancy outpaced.
