THE TEMPLE OF ART by CHARLES WHITWORTH WYNNE

First Line: THE TEMPLE OF ART LIES OPEN EVERMORE
Last Line: AND ONE MAN ENTERS IN A THOUSAND SUNS!
Subject(s): ARCHITECTURE & ARCHITECTS; ART & ARTISTS; TEMPLES; MOSQUES;

THE Temple of Art lies open evermore,
And this the inscription set above the door—
@3Faint not, nor falter, ye that enter here,
The deathless dead surround you everywhere.
All that life gives, they gave—in sacrifice,
The Deity demands no lesser price@1.
In blood-red letters the brief legend runs:
And one man enters in a thousand suns!
