Dear Lord,
The brightness of this day
Dost fill my soul and help me say:
Tomorrow's shadows
Shall not dismay
The glories of this
Passing day.

The morning of another day
Brings greater joy
To those who pray
For loving care
And pardoning grace
To keep us in a humble way
To live more closely
Day to day.
