A pilot am I Roaming the sky, Chasing a rainbow of dreams; Greeting the dawn, Sailing right on, Chasing a rainbow of dreams; Like a bird on the wing Flying, I sing, While chasing a rainbow of dreams. I'm so happy up here in the clouds Far from the work-a-day crowds, Chasing a rainbow of dreams, A beautiful rainbow of dreams. Never was there castle more fair Than this one I'm planning in cloudland somewhere At the end of my rainbow of dreams. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...THE STUDY OF HAPPINESS by KENNETH KOCH SO MUCH HAPPINESS by NAOMI SHIHAB NYE CROWD CONDITIONS by JOHN ASHBERY I WILL NOT BE CLAIMED by MARVIN BELL THE BOOK OF THE DEAD MAN (#21): 1.
