APRIL by MABEL WARREN ARNOLD

First Line: CLOUDS AND RAIN AND GLOOM ARE EVER
Last Line: CLOUDS AND RAIN.
Subject(s): STORMS;

Clouds and rain and gloom are ever
Stirred in April's stormy main,
While the wind howls "Now or never,"
Clouds and rain.

See the drops splash on the pane!
Is it not a vast endeavor
To be pleasant in the rain?

Will the sunshine with a lever
Lift the storm clouds from the lane?
Yes, a rainbow will dissever
Clouds and rain.
