WHEN TWILIGHT COMES WITH DREAMS by WILLIAM STANLEY BRAITHWAITE

First Line: O LET THE MUSIC PLAY A LITTLE LONGER
Last Line: HOPES WHICH MUST ENDURE.
Subject(s): DREANS;

O LET the music play a little longer,
And sweetheart clasp me closer to your breast.
Life is strong, and death; but love is stronger --
And sweeter, sweeter, rest.
Oh, sweet is rest when love is watching over,
And twilight comes with dreams that reassure;
Weaving out of the silences that hover
Hopes which must endure.
