Friends and loved ones wandered o'er thee Weaving on the loom of life Memories golden -- dreams so olden, Reveries of pure delight. One by one they left the gateway Down the angles' rugged path, One by one they left me lonely Lost in memory's sailing craft. When I, too, go down the pathway, Fringed with joys and sorrows too, May sweet memories sleep eternal 'Neath the shining, morning dew.
