THE REBUKE by ROWLAND EYLES EGERTON-WARBURTON

First Line: SAID BROWN -- 'WHEN I, MYSELF TO RID
Last Line: "YOU MIGHT HAVE TALK'D GUM-ARABIC!"
Subject(s): ARABIC LANGUAGE; TEETH; TOOTHACHES;

SAID Brown—"When I, myself to rid
Of pestering Arabs, fiercely chid
The swarm which throng'd the Pyramid,

—My false teeth as I loudly swore
By chance fell out,—then all was o'er,
And not a word could I say more!"

"You muff!" said Jones.—"Had you been quick
And seized that moment for the trick,
You might have talk'd @3Gum-Arabic!@1"
