THE MIST by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: EURYDICE ELUDES THE DARK
Last Line: HE FINDS THAT SHE IS GONE.
Subject(s): EURYDICE (NYMPH); MIST;

Eurydice eludes the dark
To follow Orpheus, the lark
That leads her to the dawn
With rhapsodies of star-delight,
Till, looking backward in the flight,
He finds that she is gone.
