LOST GEESE, by
First Line: The honking geese in piteous plight
Last Line: In one safe flight to your destined end.
Subject(s): Geese

The honking geese in piteous plight
Pealed forth their fears through fog-filled night;
And circling through the darkened gloom
Confused and worried -- facing doom.
For naught hath man the power to guide
Them by the light-filled city's side.

I pray God lead you, feathered friend,
In one safe flight to your destined end.
