Pale and wan as the moon!

Innocence and sweetness
Glow from your petals --
You are mine!

Tiger lily, red, red as wine!
Brilliant, vivid flower!

Boldness and enchantment
Glow from your petals --
You are mine!

How can I not sing of you
Who are both so beauteous?
One an image of death;
One a banner of life!
