First Line: Fanfaronade did autumn fling
Last Line: Then spent her days in orison.


Fanfaronade did Autumn fling,
An accolade to garnering.
Splashed Summer's raiment brazonly;
Lashed rainbow tints on every tree.
When undone her riotous flame,
A nun in umber she became
Penitent for orgies gone,
Then spent her days in orison.
