If every girl
Could claim a pearl
And I had pearls in plenty,
To every girl
I gave a pearl,
To mine I'd make it twenty.

For mine is twenty times as fair
And twenty times as tender,
And mine I love with all my heart --
A sea of pearls I'd send her.
