MY DREAM, by
First Line: Sometimes a dream of poetry
Last Line: That far in elfland rings.
Subject(s): Poetry & Poets

Sometimes a dream of poetry
Floats near me, and I seek
To grasp the theme for golden rhymes;
Yet all words seem so weak,
My pen too coarse for faery things
And as I strive, methinks I hear
The echoing laughter, silver-clear,
That far in Elfland rings.
