I RENEWED some forgotten friendships:
My old friend, the sky, and my comrade, the open air:
My dear cronies, the hills, and my lover, the sea:
I went out and we had an afternoon of it together.

They gave me tokens:
You may taste the sea on my cheeks, and the fragrance of the hills is in my hair:
And the tan on my face is a memento of the friendly sky.
