RHAPSODY OF LIFE, by
First Line: What is this thing called life
Last Line: Shielding the world from our sight?
Subject(s): Life

What is this thing called life
Mingled with pain and strife
And sometimes love?

Oftentimes cursed with gold
Gleaming with stealth untold
And sometimes hate?

Tearing the hearts of the wrong,
Stealing the minds of the strong,
Usurping the souls of the throng?

Burning in eyes of the bright,
Lighting the faces of right
Shielding the world from our sight?
