AT my window there's an angel Robed in flame Orange, emerald, vermilion! Countless treasure not a trillion Though you heaped it to the sky, Of the gems of earth could buy Such magnificence of color, Such release from gray and dolor, All things tame, As this wondrous angel brings (O the ravishing evangel!) In the splendor of his wings Orange, emerald, vermilion, Gold of sunset, rose of dawn And his name?
