First Line: There's a spot I know in the old north woods
Last Line: In memory's sweetest renewals!
Subject(s): Forget-me-nots

There's a spot I know in the old north woods
Where a brook flows cold in the darkness
Of filtered light, where dim sunlight broods
Through the pines' majestic starkness.

There forget-me-nots bloom in loveliness fair,
Each petal a turquoise! Small jewels,
Which nature has set for my thought to wear,
In memory's sweetest renewals!
