FRIENDS IN NEED, by                    
First Line: I came to you with troubled heart
Last Line: I needed you -- you needed me.

I came to you with troubled heart,
I knew not what;
Evil, fear, imagination had played their part.

Your tender care -- your quiet thought
Renewed the strength,
Courage, hope, and faith I sought.

But when you bared your heart to me,
Mountains of Love
Arose -- to help you crown a victory.

'Twas then my troubles melted as the brightening sun
Swallows the darkness;
With unfaltering step -- renewed life was begun.

And now I know it was to be;
Time tempers all --
I needed you -- you needed me.
