O Star that led the Wise Men from the East, Shine on our revelssanctify our feast! They sought the Prince of Peace: we seek Him, too: But not with myrrh and frankincensewith rue, The Flower of Repentance, meet for those Who saw the Light and yet the Darkness chose. Though sometimes it may wax and sometimes wane, Yet beams that Staryet beckons us again; Eternal challenge to the mystic Quest For Peace, which, till he find, man may not rest. And it shall shine until its task be done, With all men Brothers, and all nations One.
