THE VOICE OF THE GUMBO BLUFF, by                    
First Line: I am the voice of the gumbo bluff
Last Line: I am much more than earth.

I am the Voice of the Gumbo Bluff—
I am eternal as the skies—
But only to a dreamer's eyes
Will I disclose my worth.

Some call me ugly, worthless, stuff—
But dreamers see high towers rise—
To them my beauty never dies—
I am much more than earth.
